Group Piano Lessons
A Group Piano Class is an exciting introduction to piano and music skills for beginning level music students. The goal of the course is not only to develop a solid musical foundation in piano, but most importantly to instill in the student a genuine love and appreciation for music.
A group atmosphere is often more beneficial and enjoyable for beginning level students because they are motivated by their peers, but are also allowed to progress at their own rate.
Basic piano skills, such as proper hand positions, posture, note reading, and technique, will be taught. Students will learn how to play age appropriate music step by step. They will learn to listen to each other while playing, developing of a better sense of rhythm and tempo.
No previous experience is required. Keyboards for the class practice will be provided.
If you don`t have a keyboard at home, you can rent one from the Ivy Music for an additional fee of $70 for the whole 12-week period.

Double Fun - Family Makes Music
We are eager to announce our new program "Double Fun Family Makes Music" which was designed by our enthusiastic team of teachers, many of whom are also parents.
This is an after school, after work or weekend program designed for:
- Two parents
- A parent and a child
- Two siblings who are close in age
- Two best friends
The students should be at the same or similar level of music proficiency: beginners, intermediate or advanced, and the age requirement is 4+. For the parent-child combination the age requirement is 3+.
The lessons are 30-minute long and offered in piano, voice, guitar, violin/viola and cello. You can book your day/time of the lesson via email at email@example.com or you can call us at (781)-647-5390.
This new program will save you time, money and most importantly it will give you an opportunity to spend time together while experiencing the exciting world of music.
It is also great for parent-child relationship, as it gives parents an opportunity to be involved in their child’s progress. Unlike in private music lessons where they observe the progress from the sidelines in this program parents and children are in the same role- both learning. Parents will experience and understand the music themselves which means they will better understand the importance and responsibility of practice. They can help their children to get better but sometimes they will be surprised how children are capable of helping their parents.
The program starts on December 17th, 2018 and it ends on March 24th, 2019.
No lessons will be held
from 12/24/2018 to 01/02/2019;
from 02/18/2019 to 02/24/2019;
175 Main St. Norfolk, MA
In the event of inclement weather that inhibits activity, you will be notified by email of that day's cancellation as early as possible. Every effort will be made to make up the missed class at the end of the program. During the winter, if Walpole Public School closes due to inclement weather, Recreation Department programs and classes will also be cancelled for the day.
